Ricky Scearce
Ricky Scearce was a long time educator and coach in the Katy ISD who passed away May 4, 2012. He worked at Mayde Creek Junior High, Taylor High School, and Memorial Parkway Junior High.
Ricky was a graduate of Katy High School class of 1969. He was an active basketball official (Rice Belt) and softball umpire (TASO) and spent many seasons serving on the board of Katy Youth Basketball and Katy Girls Softball Association.
Most importantly, he lived his life with high integrity, honor, and was dedicated to his family and profession. Though he was called out of this life, he is safe at home.
